Does anyone know what this handy tool is?
I have a little tin bucket filled with long thin swabby thigamajiggy things just like that. Plus fine paint brushes and make up brushes and little brushy like mascara brushes that I use to clean my frets, bridge, tuners, etc... My guitar tool bag has progressed from a little purse like satchel to a Craftsman 4 drawer chest and a desk top lined with solutions, files, oils, glues, dyes, wood fillers, paints, tiny screws, etc... I made a neck cradle (well my son cut the cradle, I lined and padded it with leather. I saw a guy on Facebook marketplace advertising guitar cleaning services and I thought I could do that but I hesitate to do it. What if you messed up someone’s baby? I get pretty upset if I make a ding or a scratch on my own I can’t imagine if it happened to someone else’s guitar. I was moving some stuff around last week because the grand was getting into my bubble, and put a scratch on my little Roadie. I just fixed the ding I put on him when I moved.
Okay I'll take a guess. A pick retrieval getter thing a bob.
It looks like a stick with tape on it, or as yiwork said, a pick retrieval thing.
@jerseychicadee It is easy to get little dings here and there. I tend to just ignore them.
@yiwork I was using a straw with some tape to get them out of the guitar but I needed a little more reach this time so I used a 3 foot dowel. I never had any luck at all just flipping the guitar. 😀
A pick sticker picker plucker
Poor little Roady. I just filled a significant ding right on the top. Now I scratched him. The finish on these is so thin. They don’t allow it to soak into the grain.
@jerseychicadee Well yeah, that is the technical name.
I will say No before reading the comments 😀
