Lesson ID: A0101
What makes a strumming pattern sound country and bluegrass? In this guitar course, I’ll teach you several of my favorite strumming patterns that have a nice country and bluegrass twang. We’ll start with the most basic strumming pattern in lesson one, and then work our way up to more advanced strumming concepts as we progress through the lesson series. At the end of this course, you’ll have a ton of awesome strumming patterns that you can use with your favorite classic country and bluegrass songs.
Very nice! I can’t wait to see the rest of the videos in the series. Thanks Devin!
not sure about the order we should be doing these courses but I looked ahead, sounds good
Thanks. Probably no particular order as far as which course to do first. I tend post the courses in a random order…probably my ADD taking over haha..but I’m planning to start that hybrid picking course soon, and then going to post lessons to all the courses we have going in future weeks..trying to keep everybody interested with a bit of variety.
I agree. It’s hard to know where to start. It would be good to leave some example progress plans given one’s ability level. How is it going now?
This is the sound I want to play.
Great! I’m particularly interested in all those fills which sounds so well when changing chords. I have the feeling that when you hit a chord, you don’t give it up until you have fully used all the possibilities it is offering. I want to learn that!
