New lesson! You'll learn two arrangements for Cold Frosty Morning and I'll be putting together another video next week talking about the rhythm guitar for this song and also some tips for soloing over this song using the Dorian and Mixolydian modes. There are some pretty interesting chords in this song.

Hope y'all like the lesson!

What a great tune, Hopefully your arrangement is not to difficult for me.

I’ve been playing it since you posted it!  Going slow but increasing speed. Thanks Devin!

This sounds very similar to another song, but I can't quite place it. 🤔

@shysue It sounds similar to Jerusalem Ridge to me.

Yea it’s a similar structure. The volleys in the second and third section ring very close to JR. I like the last section. Great finger work and easy enough for my weak fingers to play. Bony fingers.

@jerseychicadee  Yeh, my left index finger is getting bony at the tip and my middle finger feels bruised sometimes. I really hate getting old. LOL

So that's why it sounds so familiar to me. I've played Jerusalem Ridge hundreds of times and it's embedded in my memory.

@shysue  Maybe we could get some fingertip implants. Guaranteed no buzz.

@shysue  What ARE those? 🤔

I had bought a couple sets of those. They’re very thin and  tear extremely easy. They were a waste of money. I threw them away after 1 wear.

@jrick92 LOL, they're supposed to cushion your fingers when you're playing a stringed instrument. Like jerseychicadee said, they are a waste of money.

@shysue  It is frustrating when you first start playing and you're in pain after 10 minutes.
