Just posted a quick demo video of some new guitar strings that I've been using lately. If y'all try them out, let me know what you think!

Those do have a nice sound to them. Think they'd sound great on my D-18 and I'm about ready to change out strings so think I'll get some of these. I used to love the Elixirs but they're starting to sound a little too trebly and bright to me now.
@shysue Awesome, let me know what you think! I've been using them for the past couple of lesson videos and I really like the sound of them.

Okay, will do. Just ordered two sets and I'll change out my strings soon as I get them.
@shysue Nice, hope you like them!

Ordered up 2 sets. I know I’m gonna sound like you when I get on ....(I got a bridge for sale too.....) Thanks Devin!
Will have to try these next time. Would love to hear everyone’s feedback when they get them though
I’m intrigued especially with the in between diameter. I’m so used to mediums now but can’t argue with the tone you’re getting from your D-18 (so much so it’s making me question my Rosewood bias).
Currently have been liking SantaCruz Med Tension.
Good price On the WoodTones too!
Yes, the between light and medium feature got my attention. When I first started I always went for the light gauge strings thinking they'd be easier to play. Not sure if that's true, and the tone left a lot to be desired.
Devin's demo sounded great, too. Another selling point, although I'll never sound like Devin even if play with these strings, LOL.
The company was super fast in responding and in shipping them out. Figure I'll get them tomorrow or Saturday.
Devin’s demo is what sold me. I’ve heard him play that same guitar and it sounds different.
@jchick
Right? I thought the same thing!
I really do think our ears are becoming more sensitive the more we play and listen. Devin’s demo epitomizes the “woody tone” to me. Others, like Troy McManus, the “shimmering sibilant tone”.
Hey Devin , i ordered 2 sets because they sound amazing !
Not going to get the strings until Wednesday. I've never been this excited about getting strings in the mail before. LOL
I know Sue, I get pretty excited over one pick in a bag. I’m a really cheap date. Easily entertained.
@shysue I can't wait until y'all can try them out! Let me know how it goes!!
