@rg I really like them both a lot -- both have a really similar tone but the bluegrass strings have a slightly heavier feel to them which I like sometimes for fiddle tunes. The bluegrass string gauges are the same as the country strings but the string tension is barely higher on the bluegrass strings. It's the "12.5 gauge" in between lights and mediums that's the biggest selling point for me. I love the feel of them.
Let me know what you think if you end up trying some!

@devinThanks Devin,
I do like the heavier feel when it comes to strings
I have the Country Woodtones on now.
I'm gonna order the Bluegrass strings this week.
I look forward to trying them out.
Thanks again for the Randall Collins lesson,
sounds awesome!
I've been looking forward to learning this one for a while.
I learned the Billy Strings guitar break for Randall Collins
that he plays on one of the Gibson 1936 Carter Vintage videos.
It'll be fun to try and pull in some of those riffs once I learn the song.
Thanks again man
I'm looking forward to getting the Bluegrass strings.
Just installed some Woodtone strings on my Collings D1A VN varnish and yes there is a discernible sound improvement. You can hear it right away. Everything is a lot clearer I wouldn’t be interested in the Bluegrass version thought. I’m don’t like really stiff strings
