I’m a lefty, with 5 acoustic Left-handed guitars......Any other lefties out there?
My grand daughter plays lefty. I’ve bought her a couple lefties. I almost made her learn righty but she’s doing pretty good. I bought her a pink Tele for her first, an all acoustic Luna and a acoustic electric Fender parlor. I can’t even change the strings for her anymore. She’s doing it herself!
Good for you for letting her stay a lefty. Some thing it makes learning difficult because everything is backwards, but no problem, we lefties are use to living in a right handed world......lol.
It wasn’t easy finding left handed guitars. I found pink Telecaster a few years ago. Way before I re-entered guitar. 35 years ago I had started my middle son (her Dad) off on guitar and he took off like a rocket. He got really good until life got in the way. He still picks at it. Now I’ve seen him picking it up more. Hopefully, the youngest GD picks it up. I think music steers them into a different clique as they get more social, band kids, who tend to avoid so many life pitfalls. At least it worked for me.
