Is anybody using Jam Kazam?
No, What is it?
It's a free program you can download to your PC(64 bit). You can then join up with others in your network of musician friends who have the same program on their PC and jam with each other. I'm using it with pretty good success. A good audio interface is required (sound card that comes with your PC not recommended). Turn off WiFi and connect to your router with an ethernet cable is recommended. A DSL connection might be too slow. Cable or fiber optics for faster upload speeds are best. If you have ever used ZOOM for meetings, ect, it is similar to that. The latency factor is minimal. Working properly, it's the next best thing to jamming with someone in your living room without the risk of disease. There is a bit of a learning curve in setting it up. Video so you can see your friends is also available. You can adjust volumes of all participants.
