We have not heard from Devin this month, I hope everything is ok.

I was thinking the same thing, but then he posted the new song Fishin' creek blues.

Also, have May's winners been drawn yet or did I miss that? 

Hope Devin's OK! he doesn't seem as active on here as he used to be.

As with all the new songs, the first time I listen to it I think, “that’s way too complex for me.” Then I try it on slow and almost sounds like music. After several tries it sounds tolerable. Now, I’ve added it to my list. 

@jerseychicadee I felt the same way when I checked out this song. I will give a go but I made resolution to my self not to start another song until I'm finish what I've started already.

Devin's done a couple of new songs (Ripple and Fishin' Creek Blues) but he didn't post it in the Announcements. I only found out because I subscribe to his YouTube channel and it told me he had these new lessons. Hope he's doing okay. I don't think he's even doing the monthly contest anymore. 

I haven't been on here near as much as I'd like to because there's just too much going on in my life right now. Maybe Devin's got the same thing happening, just too busy. 

I hope Devin is alright too. His website has been a great help in understanding where these great country guitar sounds come from. He is a very good teacher too as he has a lot of patience and takes his time 

@georgeanddoris66hotmail-com Ditto! This classic country stuff was exactly why I started playing guitar and this is the first site I found that really helped me out. As a plus, I found out that I really like Bluegrass. 

I dropped him a Live chat message and it came back as not available. 

I'm betting he is on summer vacation and taking several weeks off.

@kate I'll add the May winners soon also! I was too focused on trying to get the most recent lesson posted before I went on vacation that I forgot the giveaway. I'll try to have the winners posted here in a few days and keep y'all posted on the forum.
