Wow! Just playing normally? I haven't broken a string yet and I'll be shocked if it ever happens.

@wjssavhotmail-co-uk I thought I seen on Woodtones web site if you break a string and you let them know which string they will send you out a new one.

Crap!  I broke a string when putting on my first set. I didn’t want to break a full set up so I put on a replacement from a set of counterfeit elixirs I bought off eBay. Bugs me every time I pick up the guitar. I’m gonna go read that one!

I think the only time I ever broke a string was when putting them on and wound them too tight. A long long time ago

I bought on of those battery operated string winders. First time using it, broke the string. Distracted easily, Squirrel....

I did the same thing with my husband's guitar, changing out the strings and the string winder was set to turn the wrong way. Snapped that high E string in a hot second and unfortunately he had his face over the body of the guitar. Came real close to getting a tragic guitar string injury, but he was lucky this time, LOL.

@yiwork Hi, I wouldn't expect them to send one string to N Ireland, but if it keeps happening you never know 😀 😀

@shysue I wind mine manually but I think at the time I didn’t have a tuner or something and was guessing a lot high
