I got a reply from recording king. I think that bag will fit. The interior length is 42.75
Wrong photo but that one has the case measurements this one is from RK
Do you guys like the bag style or the hard case?
@rinny51 I would prefer the hard case, but the gig bag is more affordable.
I like the bag. I ordered that gator. They said if it doesn’t fit they’ll swap it out but the dimensions look just right. Crossing my fingers
Thanks, Jerseychicadee.
I like hard cases. My electric came with a gig bag and it's OK since it seldom leaves the house.
Yeah I guess my guitars need to get out of the house more often.
Mine goes out on the porch once in a while and for a really wild time we both go all the way to the pool.
@rinny51 I’m a cursin you right now Mr. Reinhardt. I bought leather carving tools and bag of leather today!! ##@$ SMH another expensive hobby. I’m going to make some little key ring pick fobs first to see if I can do it. I’ve always sewed up little pouches but I’m gonna give the tool work a go on some scraps.
@jerseychicadee I am not wood carving at the moment for two reasons. First I still haven’t unpacked my tools and second wood prices are through the roof right now. I am sure your new hobby will be fun.
I feel ya there. I’m moving 4 miles over to my sons from my daughters and I feel like just leaving it all and buying new. When I was much younger I moved all the time, usually an average of every 5 years. Even later on, when I was travel nursing, I moved every 12 weeks. I kept it to a big suitcase and maybe a box or two of kitchen essentials. (I still cherish my knives and other pieces I have to have close by). Now F it all all I need is my pajamas and guitars. Lol
So, I bought the Walker & Williams tooled leather strap for Goldie. $50. The photo made it look like a foil silvery but it’s actually a creamy matte tan Color. I’m thinking I might try putting a foil over the floral print if I can teach myself how. It is a beautiful strap though. Padded undersurface. Not too thick a padding. Stiff upper surface. I can feel that it is softening a little and trust it’s going to keep softening as it ages. I’ll buy another one for sure. The woven ones I have are stitched with a nylonlike thread that rubs my neck the wrong way and the ends are vinyl plastic crap.
