Another I've learned all thanks to Devin! hoping to tackle some tony rice now 😀
Great job ! I’ve been working on that song since about 1 minute after Devin posted it and I’m no where near that smooth yet!!
Thanks for sharing that was really nice great job.
Wow, that is such smooth playing. You are getting great tone out of that guitar too. Thank you for inspiring us!
This is inspiring. Nice, smooth playing.
This is the piece that drew me to C.G.O. and this video inspires me to play it as smoothly and cleanly as you do. Some people my quibble about the speed, but to me, it's just right. Thanks for posting it.
@jerseychicadee You know what J.C.? This guitarist is probably no longer a subscriber to CGO. He posted this video and another one where he plays Tennessee Waltz in Drop D and that was it. Meanwhile on You Tube he refers to himself as a folk guitarist and those are basically only two bluegrass videos he has. He does have thirteen videos in total on his channel though and they are all very well done.

yes, the speed at which he plays it is also the speed at which I try to play it cleanly.... Billy Strings must have been in a hurry when he recorded!
I play this but my playing doesn’t sound as crisp and clear as his. My old fingers are weak lol
@jerseychicadee is Jersey Male or Female 😆
