Im a new member from France (please excuse my english !).
I've been playing for around 2 years and a half, mostly electric guitar until the last two months. My favorite genres so far have been rock, blues and reggae and I want to discover new horizons.
I've discovered Devin's lessons on youtube and I've loved everything I've seen. The lessons are clear and precise and, in my opinion, are close to what we can get with a (very good, which is rare !) private teacher.
I also love the way Devin talks. His tone is calm and slow and this is how we imagine in France a man from the South of the States sounds like 😉
Well, it's a real pleasure for me to join !
I'll have already a couple of question to ask, but Im gonna do this in new thread.

I feel less alone as I am from France as well.
My culture of country music started with Emmylou Harris.
And for two months, I have been exploring in details Dolly Parton's prolific career which drives us from country to pop and back to blue grass.
With lovely voices, country girls are also worth the listening in this kind of music.

I am in Normandy, on the way to America.
But my family has stuck me there and no boat has taken me yet to where I once dreamed to be.
So singing country with my guitar is a way for me to make the crossing virtually.
And by the way, Devon's lessons are making a lot to improve my strumming and my licks. Many thanks to him.
