Hello from Kentucky. I have played guitar off and on over the years, but never really took it seriously. Last fall I decided to take a more serious approach to guitar and got off the couch and started attending a local open bluegrass at the International Bluegrass Museum here in Owensboro. I was instantly hooked on Bluegrass! So many talented musicians at the open jam, and it was so nice to see how helpful everyone is in helping someone new to bluegrass such as myself. I found CGO and liked the content and teaching style. I am really enjoying the Fill "Riffs and Lead Guitar" and "Country Strumming" courses. My goal at the moment is to become a strong rhythm player, which is important in bluegrass. Devin's course content in these two courses is a great way to get there. I will be glad to be able to start attending the open jam again, because I didn't realize how playing with others can really boost my playing. Everyone stay safe! -Kevin
Same here. I knew about Bluegrass, but until I went to the Pickin' in the Pines get together in Flagstaff and saw it being performed live I didn't really appreciate the talent and musicality of the Bluegrass musicians. But now I do!
