I have just bought an Antus CT-200 Tuner, Its rechargeable and well worth the money. 😊
I didn't think one particular clip on tuner was any better than the next one, but maybe I'm wrong (again). Did you compare the one you had with the Antus one? Maybe it's more accurate? It's rechargeable so that's something. I have a Snark Super Tight. It says right on the box that it's the #1 Selling Tuner and it also says Millions Sold, but yours has a fancy model number, CT-200, so that probably trumps whatever claims mine make. Anyways John, congrats. Your D-28 is will be happy to have a new friend.
@jambongris It Does exactly the same job as my last Fender Tuner but without the worry of leaving it on or finding another battery.
@wjssavhotmail-co-uk Nothing's worse than forgetting to turn off the tuner after the guitar is tuned.
I compared the BOSS clip tuner with the series tuner on my Martin D10e and have to say the Martin's is way better, more accurate.
This past summer I invested in a Peterson Strobe and a couple Peterson clip on tuners. The Strobe is nice but huge. I keep it on my side table, next to my guitar center. I have cheap cheaply ones I bought on WISH for like a dollar work just as well. I have probably 4 Snarks. All work just fine. I’m not playing for the philharmonic so close is good. Any tuner that turns on is my favorite.
