Is this for real? I didn’t think Randy T could sing since the massive stroke and other health issues he had a few years ago?
God bless him in any endeavor given what he’s gone through the last ten years.
I pretty sure this was recorded prior to his stroke. He probably has several songs in the can that aren’t published. I watched a video last week with Randy and his wife sitting at a kitchen table with the songwriter, Shawn Camp. He still can’t talk. His right side is paralyzed. I saw another video where his wife was saying they’re broke from bad investments and poor management and life in general.

I didn't know this about Randy Travis, but then I only just started getting into country music this year. That's pretty sad.
As I’ve said in other threads, I’m like Susan in terms of country and bluegrass being a new area of discovery for me. Definitely a rocker through my early and mid adult years. Ok, straight jazz and classical too early on.
But, the first country music I paid money for was Randy’s CD that had Forever and Ever. I’ve always loved that song and his voice.
He’s just starting TikTok. He really must need money in an awful way. He should come live my life and see how being broke really looks. I’ve always made the best out of what I’ve had. Live small. Lol. I feel bad for people who were millionaires and now they’re not. It’s hard to live broke but it won’t kill you....
