Picky about Picks?

@fransverboomgmail-comYes,

although I wasn’t going from a normal pick to a bluechip. I was transitioning from a CT55 Bluechip to a TP-48, which is a little smaller. I do like the TP-48 better. It’s the same pick Bryan Sutton uses. It has taken me a little time to adjust as far as really getting in there with the pick Confidently when crosspicking. Why did I switch from the CT55 BC pick? Because I lost it haha and figured why not try something new.

@jerseychicadee I have a punch thing that looks like a stapler that makes picks.

@fransverboomgmail-com I got a TP 50 a few weeks ago and it's been great since the first try. The other ones I had were real close in shape just a lot thinner.

@rinny51 I have lost so many pics. It's scary the way they can just vanish. I've been a lot more careful with the Blue Chip.

@jrick92 I leave mine at the top of my guitar between the strings. Haven’t lost it yet.

@rinny51 I keep mine there as well, but I tend to lose them when I put the guitar down for just a minute to do something else. Apparently there is some kind of wormhole they can fall into where they are never seen again. 😀

We have a pick punch that my mother-in-gave us for Christmas one year. Hubby had fun making picks out of anything and everything he could find, but it turns out they don't play as well as regular picks. If we used one for any amount of time the plastic edge would get kind of frazzled. Plus, it doesn't have the beveled edges that normal picks do. Now we have hundreds of unusable guitar picks. Wonder if there's some kind of craft project we could do with them. LOL.

@shysue mine came with a file so you could make the edges beveled. I still don’t use it anymore because the blue chip is way better

There is an entire niche market for guitar pick earrings. Especially Disney Tinkerbell  and Metallica logos!
