As a connoisseur (obsessed) of cheap ass parlor guitars,  I’m vassilating between the Gretsch Gin Rickey (acoustic/electric version of the Jim Dandy) or the Gretsch Penguin Parlor. I’m going to try to sell my Taylor Academy 12E....Maybe... Thats my story and I’m stick in’ to it...at least this’d what I’m telling my daughter who thinks I’ve lost my mind.

If I had to choose between the two I think I'd go for the Penguin parlor. Just my opinion.

Well, whoops, I did it again. The Gretsch Penguin got the rose.

@jerseychicadee Yeeha, you are getting quite a collection there! I promised my hubby I wouldn't buy any more guitars until I sold the ones I don't play very often. But I need more.

Yea Sue I want to sell my Taylor but people think this is a Walmart clearance. They only want to offer half what you ask. Or they ask for more and more photos. Screw that!

@shysue  It's a picture I found that looks a lot like my Border collie. I just thought it was funny. My dog would turn herself inside out to avoid touching a guitar.  Here is a pic of my dog.

@shysue  Every one needs just "one more" guitar.

I've played a lot of acoustic guitars

and I've had a hard time finding any that can top this Taylor 214CE Rosewood Grand Auditorium I have.

Maybe the other guitars weren't properly set up but that has been my experience thus far.

This guitar has such a great sound with the indian rosewood sides and spruce top.

It plays awesome. So fun to play.

I can truly say it was the best 900 bucks I've ever spent.

@jerseychicadee   I agree. Love buying things but hate selling them. I used to do eBay quite a bit in years past but it's turned into a giant PITA so not worth it. Selling guitars on Craigslist would probably be marginally better, but maybe not. I haven't even tried selling anything during this whole Covid-19 stuff.

We have some Grateful Dead ukuleles I'd like to sell, I have a Martin Custom D that I don't play since I got the D-18, and also a Gretsch Americana Series parlor guitar (Sundown Serenade) to sell.

It would be nice to get a decent price for them though; don't want to just give them away.
