Anyone else getting a lot of smoke from all the fires going on right now? We live just north of Phoenix and we're getting smoke from Arizona and California fires! It's really bad right now. Can't hardly see the sun.

It looks really bad on Sky news, Stay safe.
Thanks. I think we'll be okay, it's just the smoke is creating really bad air. Don't even want to go outside. Earlier this year we had some wildfires start up less than a mile away and we were afraid the wind would blow it our way. We lucked out and it didn't, but the fires have been really bad this season.
I’m about 20 miles from the Creek Fire. Won’t get here but the smoke and ashes are here. I went into the garage to get a scoop of dog food and couldn’t catch my breathe for about 20 minutes. My white car is dark grey with ash
We have smoke in Montana from the California fires. There were also a few fires burning here too recently.
Depending on wind direction sometimes are cars would get covered with sand from the Sahara Desert a thousand miles away
can be nuisance at times although no danger.
@jerseychicadee I thought about you being in California. You are very close to the fires. We have some going on here but nowhere near as bad as CA.
My son in law is a photojournalist for the local Fox News Station here. He’s been out there 20 hours a day filming. So far everyone I know up there is safe. No one knows about their homes yet. The smoke is bad. Worse than I’ve ever seen but this as close as I’ve ever seen. My father was a Fire Warden, so, that smell reminds me of him.
Heard on the news that the air quality in and around Fresno is the worst it has ever been there. Hope you're doing okay. Take care.
Today was a smidge (I wanted to say smudge) better than the last several. No wind but temp is cooler. I can breathe inside. Yesterday I felt like I was smoking a campfire.
At least it's getting better there. I had read somewhere that breathing the air around Portland was like smoking 20 packs of cigarettes a day. Hopefully that's an exaggeration, but it must be pretty bad.
Still Smokey in Montana
I saw something that there is going to be a mass population migration into the northern states due to weather changes over the next 50 years
@jerseychicadee I heard people try to come here every year. Most end up moving after 1 winter 🤣
It’s different that’s for sure! I have a good friend who’s been there for 40 years but he spends the hardest part of the winter in California. Have you seen the bumper sticker “Montana doesn’t care HOW they do it in California!”
