This is interesting to me. Billy Strings has a 6-night streaming live music event in February called The Deja Vu Experiment. Billy is veering into Grateful Dead territory here.

That is interesting. I'm not sure if my brain could stand that much focusing.

It's all gonna be improvisational stuff, so you're right - it might take too much focus. LOL

Missed the first free night of this but hoping to catch the 24th. I'm too cheap to pay for it, LOL.

I think he’s going through a George Harrison stage

This is on tonight at 7:00 MST on Relix. Not sure how the whole Relix thing works but it's supposed to be free. Hope I remember after dinner to check it out because it's live and you can't watch a recorded version of it. Well, you know I'm thinking that they'll have these on YouTube a few months down the road. We'll see.

Wow! This was a fantastic show and I'm glad I made it a point to watch it last night. Billy Strings did some of his standards, some new songs off his new album, and some Grateful Dead tunes. He and his band were tight and it was amazing to think that this was the last night of a six-night series.

Billy Strings is a phenomenal guitarist and he really showed his stuff in this show. He was soloing and expanding his playing way past his usual Bluegrass quick pickin' It was an amazing performance!

I watched it at 3 am. Insomnia. Great series he put on. He’s so fast I can’t take my eyes off his hands. I wish he’d go slower (just for me)

How did you watch it? Was it on YouTube? We watched it live on Relix.

Made the mistake of watching Billy and the band talking to Vince Herman in Nashville post concert to see if Vince got the tiger image we were supposed to be sending him thru ESP (he didn't). Every other word seemed to be s**t and a couple of f-bombs thrown in for good measure. Billy wouldn't let his band mates say anything either. So he's a great guitarist but still a bit rough around the edges, LOL.
