Anyone here play a Gibson? I'm kind of curious what it is you like about it and if it's comparable to Martin. I am a die hard Martin fan but I've been thinking about getting a Gibson lately.
We're doing a Re-finance on the house and will have a few bucks left over at the end of the month. I've found the best thing to do with extra money at the end of the month is to buy a new instrument or guitar accessories, because I have GAS (Guitar Acquisition Syndrome), LOL. 🤣

Hmm, I’m surprised as if you ever watch a country tribute show of any kind, Gibsons are really well-represented. I’ve always wanted a Kalamazoo-era Gibson as I’m from that area. I think their current Singer Songwriter model looks very intriguing. And of course the Hummingbird is a country icon.

@shysue I have a cheap Gibson that I played for a long time. It is an epiphany, made in Korea. The action is pretty high. I prefer to play my Taylor

When I started guitar shopping I didn’t even look at Fenders. What did I buy? A Fender. It’s okay. Pretty. Holds tune great. Sturdy. Sounds good. It’s cute. Has a heart shaped sound hole. I’m a sucker for anything heart shaped or pink. Lol. I have been lusting over several guitars but since COVID I haven’t worked, so no new guitars...for now. Lol
