Yep I did it again! I’ve been drooling over the Fender Paramount line of guitars since day one. Today I found a deal of a lifetime on one on Reverb. $315. Brand new. Blemished. We’re talking a $700 guitar. There is a stain on the spruce top looks like an oil stain. Not noticeable unless you’re looking and I’m not looking to stand up on a stage. I just slouch on a couch. I it’s a spruce top and I prefer mahogany mostly but $315 I’m pleased as a peach.

In the photos it just looks like a shadow. For a great deal like that I wouldn't let a minor spot stop me from buying it. Love that binding on it, too!

New guitar will be here tomorrow hopefully. The weather across the states is so bad we’ll see if it happens. My Fed Ex guy is going to suffer my wrath if I catch him. Yesterday tracking said left at door, ah, no, more like chucked over the gate into the yard.

@jerseychicadee First things first. If I had to be good to get a good guitar I never would have one. Just the feel of the instrument is a big part of the fun.
Yea. My son told me last night I sound horrible. I told him but who cares? He said that’s was he he stopped playing because he sounded bad. I told him just play louder.
Ouch. Now that's just mean to tell you that. If he doesn't like it tell him he can build you a soundproof room you can practice in. LOL
I just play louder.
The new Fender came today! Amazing price! The guitar is light. Very light. Must be made of feathers. Mahogany back and sides. Spruce top. The wood must be microscopically thin. It is a travel guitar but did I say how light it is? I see the seller now has an all mahogany model for close to the same price. These sell for $700. His price $330!! The strings sound crappy so the Woodtones are going on tonight.
