@shysueThe TP40 and CT55 are great picks. I notice a big difference between these and regular picks.Â
@rinny51Which Bluechip pick are you getting?Â
That would be good to hear how you get on with it and if you think they are worth the money !!
@griffs-bluegrass - I think you'd be pleasantly surprised if you tried one of these picks, but if it's worth $35 is a subjective thing. Winning one on CGO was a great gift, but if I ever lose this one I will definitely buy another because I personally believe it's worth the money. I have a little box I keep it in so I won't lose it though. 😉Â
I swear by the BlueChip Thumb pick for Dobro as otherwise, we tend to go through a lot of picks. I've had my BC thumb pick for probably four months and it still looks new. I play about an 1-1.5 hours/day on Dobro. Someday, I'll take the plunge on a BC guitar pick. I seem to lose guitar picks so I've been hesitant.
@griffs-bluegrass I have found that they’re easier to grip, they slide across the strings smoother due to the beveled edge and over all have a better sound.
@rg I chose the TP 40
Me too, I got it last week.
I still can’t decide if I like it better than my CT55.
I really like both.
- @rg looks like I’m going to have to try one, better not loose it like I seem to get through so many !!
I hear you Stephen;
I used to lose picks all the time.
It took me as little time but I’ve ended up just
making it a habit of putting it back in my bag once I’m done.
We’ll see how long I can keep this up haha.
My Weapon of choice is a TD40Â 😋 😋
@wjssavhotmail-co-ukNice!
I just got home from vacation, went into the pile of mail and found my new pick. So far I would say it is nice. Seems to glide across the strings better.
@rinny51Sweet, Looking to make a trip out to Zion.
