Country Blues Guitar Solos Over “I’m From the Country”

Lesson 14 – Rhythm Fill Riffs and Lead Guitar Course
Lesson ID: A0139

In this guitar lesson, we’ll apply several of the country riffs we’ve studied in this course by learning how to play two country lead guitar solos in D over “I’m From The Country” by Tracy Byrd. Before we learn the solos with tablature, I’ll give you a quick overview of how the solos are structured around the rhythm guitar chord progression. After you master the solos, practice along with our full-length country backing track in D.

Another awesome lesson Devin! I can’t wait to get started on this one tomorrow. Also, great job on the Tips & Tricks overview video. I would like to see more tips like that in the new lessons. Great job all around.

Good one Devin, there’s a lot to like and learn in this one. I really like this on the acoustic and might grab bits and go for it on electric next. Always impressed with your lessons. Thanks! Geoff

Devin, I really haven’t been logging in much but this morning I just enjoyed specifically concentrating on the tips&tricks ..the eight notes and timing is so important and useful for me at this time.. I was never sure why a metronome was so important even for advanced level players.. So I do understand you and why and how even these basics lessons serve well for not just beginners. The play through with tab revealed this is good practice for me. Okay enjoy cheers!
