“Likes of me” is one of my favorite song’s as well from Tony Rice. It’s actually an old Jerry Reed song but just like everything Tony touches it just becomes that much better.

@rg thank you!! 🙏 you’re right too - this song has a quality to it that only Tony could bring and to my ear, for some reason, this song just nails it. I saw Tony once when I was 15-16 but was into a rock phase and do I ever wish I could go back and really watch that show. Grew up on bluegrass in the hills of Ky, and had my guitars stolen at 21.. this October I got a older Gibson Hummingbird & started playing seriously again for first time in 14 years. I’ve learned more in 2 months than years and it’s nothing but flat picking bluegrass, and some classic finger picking from here on out. Just got keep working this dang right hand lol
In the recent months so any greats have been lost but for our little group here the loss Tony Rice has been a knee buckle for sure.
