This is real. I had to explain to my own children who Jim Croce, Twisted Sister and several others are/were! 

@jerseychicadee  Well the Rolling Stones still seem to be touring so there can't be too many who haven't heard of them, LOL. Now the Who, there are probably quite a few younger folks who wouldn't know who they are.  

I have an older sister (the bully, lol) who hasn't heard of a lot of groups. I might mention someone really big from the 80's and she'll say, "Who's that?" It kind of surprises me sometimes how out of touch she is when it comes to music.
