I am working on my Travis style and two singer songwriters that I admire are are John Prine and Guy Clark. The two songs respectively I would like help learning are "That's The Way That The World Goes Round" and "The Cape" .
I think these two tunes would work well under Alternate The Bass Line and Pluck the Melody
That's The Way That The World Goes Round
The Cape

By the way, I travel for work and have lots of time on my hands living in Hotels. I started playing Banjo in the 70's and then College, The Navy and then raising a family I put my music on the back burner. The Internet had been a Godsend and your site is one of the best and I have tried several!
Good Luck and Thanks
When I started back to learning to play guitar, I only wanted to learn to play like Prine, Clark, Earle, Travis, etc…. I thought no problem. Wrong. I’m still working on rolls, hammer on’s, pull offs, just finger picking styles. I’m getting closer. Right now I think my sound is like Ed Sheeran playing Perfect.
