I don’t have a ‘real’ porch but I have a lot of places I can plop down and play my guitar! Scales and my 4 songs I’ve learned ( none memorized)

We have a back patio we can play on, but seeing as how it will be well over 100 degrees outside (we live just north of Phoenix, AZ) we probably won't stay out there for very long. Maybe we'll do a spirited rendition of Stay All Night and then go back into our nice air conditioned house and have a cold beer. 🍺 🍺

Well I am in the middle of packing the house up and forgot to go outside and play. I did practice inside though

So, we went out on the patio and played for a bit. Our neighbor was out on his patio and he was playing Frank Sinatra over his speakers so it made for an interesting mixture of music.

An odd thing when we went out though, was that we tuned up indoors, went outside and it was hot and humid (since we'd had some rain earlier) and the guitar strings went flat and we had to retune. Same thing when we went indoors, except all the strings went sharp and we had to retune. Guess the huge difference in heat and humidity made a BIG difference in the string tension. Weird.

Anybody else do the Play on the Porch thing? Just curious. It's kind of difficult in this part of the Southwest seeing as it's so hot and all. But we gave it the old college try.

I sat out by the pool with all the kids from the neighborhood and played marching band. Kazoos, jingle bells, Castanedas, ukuleles, tiny cymbals, clave sticks, a couple tambourines and a triangle! They all think I’m nuts.

Get ‘em started early! I wish I would have had a drop of encouragement. My brother sawed my flute in half!
