Lol, you can practice with regular spoons held backwards. Put your finger in between them to make a little gap. Thatโ€™s what we did when weโ€™re kids 🤣ย

I have a bucket with different small musical instruments. Jingle bells, kazoos, triangles, tiny cymbals etc... I drag it out whenever thereโ€™s a gathering around the pool. The neighborhood kids love it. These are a little to expensive to for that but it is going to send me looking for a cheap, kid friendly versionย

The kids love it. They rush to the bucket to grab an instrument. Then I make them stand in a line and trade instruments so everyone gets a chance. Like musical chairs. Now the kazoos and oral instruments get dunked and shook out. Last summer was hard on them. They didnโ€™t get the social distancing thing at all.ย

I keep my harmonica in my car. My daughter likes to play it when I pick her up from school and we are waiting for her brothers. Canโ€™t really play it in the house because the dog howls whenever itโ€™s playedย

I heard something yesterday that rang so true for me... Donโ€™t be the person that stops a voice from singing...ย

@jerseychicadee True, true, true! If I had the technical ability I would post recordings of my GD from age 5 and 15 years of age.

@jerseychicadee I think my dog actually may just be singing. He is wagging his tail when he howls lol
