I just picked up a used Boucher BG-52 Dreadnought which was proudly handmade by the experimental and passionate luthiers at Robin Boucher's workshop in Berthier-sur-Mer, Quebec, Canada.  The top is "AAAA" grade Adirondack and the tonewood for the back and sides is East Indian Rosewood.  This is the guitar I would choose and did choose for  playing bluegrass at this point in time.

Sorry Kminor, I forgot to ask you about what your dream bluegrass guitar is.

I don't yet have a Bluegrass guitar, just looking to see what others think.

@kminor You can't go wrong with a Martin Dreadnought, although as a Canadian, I am unfortunately no longer allowed to purchase any American made guitars, which makes me sad.

@kminor There is an older thread on CGO Forum under the Discuss Your Gear category where Devin poses the same question about which acoustic guitar is best for Country and Bluegrass.  There are six pages of responses by CGO members.

@thib I'm happy for you Tibo that Neil is coming to your neighbourhood.  It just goes to prove that patience is a virtue and good things come to those who wait.  I hope Neil is in good health and he doesn't cancel like last summer in Ottawa.  Ottawa isn't exactly Paris though so there's probably zero chance he'd ever cancel that gig.
