I picked up a couple of d’Addario casein and Martin Luxe picks this summer. Like them as much as my Blue Chips. I haven’t even looked at new guitars since June when I picked up my very first Martin. I had just picked up a Taylor 326ce and received an offer for my Martin SC 13E Special I had to take. Lately, I play my Martin or my Fender American Acoustasonic Jazzmaster. I feel like I’m cheating on ky ‘old’ guitars.

Keep the Martin you will regret selling it someday.
I’m keeping my Martin!! I meant I had received the offer to purchase it not sell it!! I’ve sold 2 guitars in the past, my first little Fender Alkaline trio. My first guitar. I loved that little no electronics all mahogany but I sold it and have regretted it everyday. I paid $300 for it 3 years ago. Today they’re selling for $600-900. I even saw one for $1900. Then, I sold my Taylor 12e (which I hated). Sold it way above what I paid and really don’t regret that sale at all. I think I have 15 guitars now (lost count). This summer, I picked up a Taylor 326ce. Biggest guitar I own. Then a week later I had a looked at Martin SC13ce on Reverb and the seller made me a “you’ll regret passing on this one” offer. Went down to Guitar Center and played the model for about 2 hours and bought it off Reverb while still in GC!! I think about selling a couple of my others but I know I’ll regret it after.
@jerseychicadee Fifteen guitars Jerseychicadee! Wow. And you're not even sure if that's right. Don't you feel pressured to make sure they all get played from time to time? Aren't you afraid that they will feel neglected if you don't play them? I know guitars don't have feelings, buy still..... I think if I had guitars that I never played, I'd have to sell them. Otherwise I'd feel too much pressure to play them all. I have this Taylor GS Mini (I think I told you) that I bought for my sister, which she rejected, so I've been playing it and I love it because it's so small and easy to play compared to the J-15, but it doesn't have the big sound of a dred. and I think, man I'm going to have to go and play the J-15 later or it will be jealous. I know I sound like a weirdo, but that's the way I think. Anyway J.C., it sounds like you made some good choices with your last two acoustic acquisitions. Good luck with your future guitarsenal decisions.
I cycle through them. I have 3 places throughout my house where I spend time. I keep a guitar rack at these locations. When I’m sitting there I strum. I keep one on my lap while I work and play between calls or just noodle. I do have 4 listed on Craig’s list right now too. I’m giving up my Les Paul, a Fender Malibu and a couple Gretsch electromatics.
@jerseychicadee Sounds like you've put some nice electrics on the market. I've never played an electric guitar. Someone told me I should get one so at least I could play a barre chord, lol. That's something I need to work on. Then I'd need to get an amp. They do sound super cool though and I've always wanted to play the Stairway to Heavy guitar break. Actually, there are quite a lot of songs I'd like to learn, but I won't bore you with the titles. Anyways J.C., good luck with the Craig's List sales.
@jambongris An electric guitar on christmas wishes!
@thib My local store has a sale on Les Paul Standard 50's and 60's models right now, with a choice of various tops. I always thought the gold top Les Paul was a cool looking guitar Anyways, maybe next year. I'm still pretty focused on acoustic for now.
