Here’s a classic country chicken pickin’ lick in the key of A. That first bend with your middle finger is pretty tricky — make sure you bend with your middle finger without bending the 1st and 2nd strings with your pointer/ring fingers. After you learn the chicken pickin’ lick, practice it with the backing track at the end of this video.

Devin, do you have tabs to download ? I have to go much slower than the video
cant do these bends or the tremolo effects on my acoustic guitar- right?
You could maybe do it, but you’d need some super light strings and thick calluses on your fingers.. probably more fun on electric

Cool lick, but it’s difficult to figure out one self how to do these kind of bends and the chicken picking technique. Was hoping you’d explain it.
