@thib Your Guitar Sounds and looks good only you would notice the imperfections because you built it. Devins Lesson on Walk on Boy can be tricky enough but well worth the time and effort to learn.

@alberto-pai Hi, thanks Alberto! Oh no, it's my forst one, buid during this summer, finished in October, I hope make a second one ... but when... it's a lot of time, and when you build a guitar, .. you don't play guitar... but it wa a fantastic experience, I still have some work to make it better, I'll sand the neck, rework it , remove frets,, refine it,  improve flatness... some hours when I'll find time!

@thib So now you can add boutique guitar builder to your list of accomplishments!  If you made a second guitar, would you use the same specifications as far as types of woods for top, back and sides, finger board and bridge/saddle material?

@alberto-pai Yes it is! I made some cigarbox guitars the last 3 years within real material, and I bought a super book   https://www.amazon.fr/M%C3%A9thode-simplifi%C3%A9e-fabrication-dune-guitare/dp/B0C4N7W3BKhttps://www.amazon.fr/M%C3%A9thode-simplifi%C3%A9e-fabrication-dune-guitare/dp/B0C4N7W3BK   to make a guitar with simplifications, each step is not too difficult, and finally you have a guitar!

@thib Now if only I had a workshop, tools and some basic carpentry skills.  Alas, when it comes to being a Renaissance man, I have two left feet.  I noticed the picture on the front cover of your book shows a guitar with a hole on the side, similar to the ones on the G series acoustic guitars that Gibson is producing.  A Player Port I believe they call it.  Did you make your guitar with this "player port" or would making an additional sound hole, especially on the side, be took risky an undertaking?

@jambongris No I didn't made the soundport, But I have one on my recording king RO 326 (copy of 00028) and it is great, I can hear what I play 😆 , as I play for my dog, I can say I'm in the audience. seriously, it is a ++, but i' 'd not make it on the D 35...

(On the picture it's not my collection ... It was at the seller's house...)
