Hi there fellow pickers, I've just joined CGO hoping to pick up some new cool riffs and songs to work on, especially during this crazy lockdown. I've converted from conventional folky type songs to Bluegrass for several years now. A tune ain't worth playing if it don't have any picking, hammer ons and slides !!! Just wish I got into it when I was a youngster, but then you can still teach an old dog new tricks. I'm mostly playing in my 'Man cave' shed in the garden but try to join a session in one of my local pubs once a month, but here in the UK there's not a big Bluegrass scene as in USA but there are one or two talented musicians and bands worth seeking out. Looking forward to learning with Devin, the website and lessons look super cool. 😎
