Hi,

We host small jams at our home in College Park, Maryland.  I play guitar, and my husband plays banjo. We're relatively new, also to our instruments and to bluegrass. We would welcome you to join us!  We're not doing any in person jams now, of course, but once we're able we will certainly plan something.

If you are still looking, The Capitol Area Bluegrass and Oldtime Music Association (CABOMA) has 2 jams a month in Arlington, VA and is very welcoming to beginners. There is always a slow jam group. Google CABOMA for more info.
