I have a digitech GNX4 that i have had for many years. i just looked it up and it can do the looping thing but i wouldnt know where to start. I have done some recording on it in the past.

I lead worship every week and I use a looper sparingly.Β  You really have to have the rhythm down when using it.Β  It is great for adding in some simple shaker background or percussion of some sort if you have the constancy in rhythm to do so.Β  Practice with it.

You don't usually need a very long amount of time in a loop either.Β  I use the TC Helicon Play Acoustic and love it.Β  If you do solo gigs and want some background harmonies, it works really well, plus the body rez feature for your guitar is really nice.
