We shouldn't let the lack of giveaway prevent us from posting to the forum.  Perhaps a Randy Travis lesson request or two?

@jambongris I'ld like Whisky for breakfast, but I train so well, that I don't have much whiskey anymore, and my days are complicated to cope with 🤪 🤪

More seriously, I have some difficulties with measures 25 to 28 (rhythm)

@thib When you say "training" do you mean running?  Yeah, no, whiskey anytime of the day never did agree with me.  I tend towards beer over firewater at this stage in the game or a nice Cote de Beaune.  The section that begins with bars 25-28, the last part of the instrument break, is the least favourite part for me.  I usually do (sing) three verses,  before doing the solo guitar break and I tend to omit the last part of the break because I just don't like it that much.  I imagine you will be singing the verses too?  To me, that takes courage.  My singing voice is not good, but this piece is fairly easy to sing.

@jambongris Just wondering because at the top of the page its changed to wood tone strings, and not the February giveaway? Just checking if were still doing it. Yes I'm still going to post on the forum just been busy lately. 😊

@jambongris In fact I don't drink whisky... Belgian beers and good wine are good for me! You don't like to hear this part or to play it because of the difficulty?

Yes I'ld like to sing this song, but I can't really sing so it's a pity for the others (except my dog), Idon't speak English decently,  but I want to try, lots of song I play on guitar need a voice to be real tunes

@thib Exacty Thib!  It is the most difficult part of the break.  I just need to practise it more.  I look forward to hearing you play it.  I also need to dive back in and make a recording of one of Devin's lessons.

@wjssavhotmail-co-uk Maybe Devin feels that there weren't enough people who filled out the entry form to justify another contest this month?

Yes, the February giveaway is still on! Here is the link https://countryguitaronline.com/monthly-giveaway-points-leaderboard/ and you can read the contest rules by clicking the button at the top of that page.

We're not doing the points leaderboard this time... but forum posting is still encouraged 🙂

Sorry about the delay in announcing the January prizes, it's been really busy over here! I'll post that info soon.

Thanks Everyone!

Devin
