Has anyone ever tried a looper pedal? I don’t know much about that tool! Thanks!
Hi Jocelyn
I've not tried one but I've heard they're good for practice. I saw a fantastic singer/songwriter called Sarah McQuaid recently and she used them during her set to produce a backing track 'on the hoof' as it were. Very interesting but I can't see me using one for live work (but never say never!).
Hi Kevin thanks for your comment. I tried a boss looper pedal RC 3 and it’s looks just fine for me.I can practice my rhythms and solo too.Have a nice evening Kevin!
They are great for practicing. Boss makes a good one. You can get then fairly inexpensively used at the Guitar Center. Their online store has quite a few.
Thanks for the advice!
Hey Jocelyn. I've just bought a Boss RC3 and it's fantastic! Brought my playing on so much in a few days. Wish I'd bought one ages ago!
I have been thinking about getting a looper pedal. I think it would be great to use to lay down some rhythm tracks to play some lead over. There are some really good videos on youtube of some very talented musicians using them to layer tracks and create some really awesome stuff. I'm not that good, but maybe some day...

Hello you lot,
I'm new here. I gig regularly in 3 different bars and have been using a boss ve8 for a while now. It's pretty complete for what I do, gives you (mainly) reverb/chorus & eq on your guitar sound, nice vocal reverb (I sing too) with harmonies if necessary, and has a loop station for either your voice or your guitar. Pretty rugged too. Supports condenser mics as well...
@kevin-mooresvirginmedia-com Glad for you I got a looper pedal too and it really help for sure...
This is a great question. Hubby gave me a simple one but I haven't figured it out yet. Now that we're stuck at home 24/7 he's going to have to show me how to use it!
By the way my looper pedal is a ditto...simple to work with!
Great practice tool, love my loop pedal. Also fun to build up a more layered rhythm track before you start jamming.

Here’s a picture of my looper pedal, simple to use...really
By the way the most important with this looper pedal, that I learnt to develop solid rhythm, timing and accuracy.
