I've always knew of flat picking, but I needed Devin to explain it to me. Now I'm a convert to country picking, and I'm all in on this site going forward.

Just got my guitar set-up by the guys down at The Guitar Shoppe in Laguna Beach, now there's a piece of bluegrass history. Thanks Devin for telling us all we need to find a good place to do the set-up.

I had them put on a set of Woodtone Country Guitar strings I ordered because of Devin, and they are incredible.

I got the 3-pack of picks, I chose the small ones and they fit great. The quarter-comparison photo really helped me choose.

Anyway, looking forward to finally learning the guitar!
