Hello All, I am happy to finally landed on a great country guitar course after trying other very difficult and expensive courses. After I hit complete I don't see that it marks me as completed when I go back to look at the courses. Help and thanks.

I joined a month or so back, but just noticed the forum here. I have been enjoying the lessons. Started with Wildwood Flower, Cold Frosty Morning, and 12 bar bluegrass in G. Just learning the Red River Valley tonight. These are some great tunes. Just wanted to say hi.

Not sure if this is the right place to be a total beginner, but I just loved watching some of the YouTube videos of Devin playing. Hi folks, I've been playing drums professionally/semi-professionally in rock bands for nearly 50 years but I've never been able to practice at home due to the volume of drums, and lugging all that gear around to gigs is a pain in the backside, so I've decided to learn some geetar so I can practice at home. I love Old Time, Bluegrass, Country and American Folk music, so this looks like it's right up my street. My wife plays mandolin and we're both into the same music and we hope to get playing in front of people as soon as possible. I've got a Baby Taylor, I play a bit of Baritone uke. Looking forward to my new musical journey.

I'm in Ohio....how'd that happen? hahaha

I found this site from watching. YT video of Man of Constant Sorrow. Glad I did, looks like stuff I'd like to learn. My playing has been just me around the house for about 40 yrs +, very stagnant. I started taking some lessons and jamming with some guys on Saturday doing blue grass stuff and I'm pretty happy now. Making some progress. Still have my Harmony Sovereign I bought in 1965! Plus a couple of other guitars and one keyboard which I'm determined to learn too.

Glad to be here and looking forward to learning some new stuff....

Hi from the United Kingdom

There is no tradition of country or bluegrass where I come from - but I do love this style of guitar playing. I have been in this site before, but it wasn’t working properly for me - since I have been away I have updated my iPad and all is well. Whilst away I tried both of the “Big Two” on-line sites and have to say I am glad to be back on here as I love Devlins style of teaching Hoping to be competent in this style of playing before I pop my clogs!

I know that most people on this site are American so would like to say as a former Royal Marine Commando (25 years) i have had the privilege to work alongside US Marines and US Rangers around the world and appreciate their professionalism and commitment.

My name is Justice. I'm a game designer living in Seattle, but I'm originally from Nashville and spent about 7 years living in Central Texas (Waco). I've been playing guitar on and off for a little over a decade now and recently fell back in love with country thanks to artists like Charley Crockett, Colter Wall, and classics by the greats like Willie, Loretta Lynn, and Glen Campbell.
