Hope Devin doesn't mind me plugging somebody else's (free) lesson 😬 but I just wanted to share this this tune from Acoustic Guitar magazine.

Alan Barnosky put together tab and a demo of a gorgeous version of Sally Ann in open G tuning by a little-known guitarist called Dudley Hill.

I'd never even tuned a guitar to open G, let alone played anything, but I've managed to get this pretty much nailed in about a week (which means it can't be too difficult!)

It sounds great, and was SO much fun to learn.

Demo and chat: https://youtu.be/aMoV9J6h1nE

Tab and more background info on Dudley Hill:

Dudley Hill's album on YouTube (well worth a listen):
