So, we all know we love Blue Chip Picks here at CGO. It is the pick I’ll get out and go look for. I have a pick pot and a pick dish where I post up to noodle. Yesterday, I ordered 2 new brands, Gravity and Clayton.
I have a BlueChip TP50 that i sometimes try but to me it sounds dull , i’ve read that a thinner one would sound brighter . Most of the time i use a Dunlop Prime Tone .88 or a Max grip 1.0
@fransverboomgmail-com I have that same pick. I get along with mine real good but I also have some dunlops that I like also.
I’ve gotten comfortable with the triangular pick shape.
I would probably cry if I lost my blue chip 😪
Me not yet , maybe later 😂
I get worried when I drop it and don’t see it right away 🤣
Have one next to every perch around the house plus one on my key chain just in case I end up in a music store.
My newest
@jerseychicadee I prefer the Tear Drop shape, But all Blue chip are cool 🤣
I've knocked my Blue Chip pick off the music stand shuffling song sheets around and panic if I can't find it right away. I've also managed to flip it into the guitar sound hole a couple of times, but at least I know where it is. 😆
I do have a couple of other picks I liked that I used a lot before I got the Blue Chip. One of them is an Ernie Ball with the House of Blues log imprinted on it, I forget what the other one was. LOL.
I need more. I like trying the different shapes. I still prefer the CT 55 best
Ha, ha. I just saw the typo. It's House of Blues logo, not log. 🤣
The last two weeks i only played with my BlueChip TP50 and now i will not go back to my other picks , i needed some time to get used to it.
Anybody else needed time to get used to a BlueChip ?
