@rinny51 Some say once a year others twice a year, your lucky you have got away without oiling
at all.
@danielburford I think there all much the same after some research on Youtube some even use 3n1 Oil.
Another satisfied F-One user here. I figure use a product that was designed for (and field trialed) the specific purpose.
I use Q-tips to apply it, wipe any excess off, etc. every time I change strings. I also do the bridge. That's about every 4-6 weeks these days. But, I live at altitude so it's very dry here most of the year.
I use bore oil for woodwind instruments. I figure if it helps wood handle the moist spitty mess going through the bore of the woodwind, then it should be fine on a guitar. I have no idea what is in it. Of course I use it when I remember to do it, which is not often.

I have been told to not worry about oil. Sometimes less is more.
@jerseychicadee #youtubebetterthancollege I have done everything from fixed my lawn mower, learned to carve signs, to making dinner. YouTube is great
I work for Verizon Call Center (from home) people call me to ask non Verizon ‘how to’ questions all day. I go straight to YouTube and text the exact YouTube link right to their phone. How do I connect a Bluetooth speaker to my phone. Verizon doesn’t know that but YouTube does! Better than a library!
I use Planet Waves Hydrate Fingerboard conditioner. I apply some other a rag when I change the guitar strings. I don’t use any oil. I did initially but was told by someone that this product was what should be used
