Does anyone use a foot stool when playing guitar? I have just purchased one and find it helpful with my playing position.
Guitar resting on right thy and foot stool under right foot.
I had one from guitar center but somehow I managed to put too much weight on it and it collapsed. I'm only 175 pounds and I'm not real sure what happened. Now I use a proline stool and just use it's foot rest.
Hey John , i have tried to use one but even in the lowest position it was to high , i could not get used to it

@fransverboomgmail-com I had the same problem but with a drill and a piece of Mahogany i was able to modify it
to a lower setting making it more comfy.

@fransverboomgmail-com I can't get used to the one I have, either. It's more of a hindrance than a help.
I find my best position is laying on the couch with the guitar on my belly. “In my belly!”
@jerseychicadee it’s good to be proficient at all of the positions. You never no when or where you will need to play.
With my family it’s where and when they don’t want to hear me play!
