I'll teach you four different bar chord formations that you can use to play any major or minor chord you may encounter. This comes in very handy when you're trying to learn country songs by looking at a printout of the chords and lyrics.

Upgrade Your Hybrid Picking
In this video, I teach another hybrid picking pattern that you can use to add a little extra style to your playing. This particular pattern calls for a combination of strumming and plucking the strings. It'll really make your rhythm guitar sound a little more country.

If you're getting bored with strumming and you would like to change things up a bit, hybrid picking is a great technique to learn. The ability to hybrid pick will make you stand out as a guitar player because there aren't too many pickers out there that know how.

Cowboys and Angels - Dustin Lynch Part II
In part II of this lesson series, we'll go over how to play the verse, chorus, and bridge of this song. The verses are very similar to the intro that was taught in part I, but there are a few differences that are worth learning. This is one of my favorite country songs on the charts today!

Cowboys and Angels - Dustin Lynch Part I
This lesson teaches a very accurate way to play the intro to Cowboys and Angels by Dustin Lynch. We'll go over the alternate tuning and a great picking pattern to use. This is a great acoustic guitar song to learn even if you don't want to sing along.

In this lesson I'll show you how to play You and Tequila by Kenny Chesney featuring Grace Potter. This song has been one of my favorite country songs since it came out. It has a great rhythm and I always find myself turning up the radio when it comes on. The song never gets old.

Springsteen - Eric Church
Learn the chords, intro, verse, chorus, and a solid strumming pattern for Springsteen by Eric Church. This song has a really cool rhythm. The strumming is primarily all down strokes, but I found it was somewhat difficult playing this one while singing.
